Information about Park Closure Dates (2027)
We regret to inform you that the park will be closed from April 5, 2027 (Monday), through April 23, 2027 (Friday) for legally required ropeway inspections and facility maintenance.
The park will reopen on April 24, 2027 (Saturday).

If you're visiting Noboribetsu Onsen, don't miss Noboribetsu Bear Park, where you can enjoy Hokkaido's wildlife, nature, culture, and breathtaking scenery all in one place.

Just a 7-minute ropeway ride from the Noboribetsu Onsen hot spring district, Noboribetsu Bear Park sits atop a 550-meter mountain, where you can get up close to Hokkaido's iconic Ezo brown bears.

Enjoy the popular bear feeding experience, Bear Athletics, an educational event showcasing the bears' natural agility and athletic abilities, and the entertaining Duck Race. The park also features the world's only Brown Bear Museum, Yukar Village, where you can discover Ainu culture, and the Lake Kuttara Observatory, offering spectacular views of one of Japan's clearest caldera lakes.
